Health Burden in Port-Adjacent Communities¶
Port emissions don't affect all communities equally. The health impact of Baltimore's port operations falls disproportionately on South Baltimore communities — particularly Curtis Bay, Brooklyn, and Hawkins Point — that have borne the cumulative burden of industrial pollution for generations.
